The dedicated individuals driving the change for marginalized communities in Pakistan.
Social Worker & Advocate
Mr. Kenneth Kamran has dedicated his life to the fierce struggle against bonded labor in Pakistan. As a grassroots social worker, he operates directly on the front lines in the rural brick kilns of Punjab, confronting the systemic oppression that keeps thousands of families trapped in the endless cycle of the "Peshgi" (debt) system.
Understanding that poverty is a weapon used to strip away human dignity, Mr. Kamran works tirelessly to provide immediate relief and long-term solutions. His relentless advocacy bridges the gap between voiceless laborers and the legal aid they desperately need to challenge fraudulent debts and secure their physical freedom.
Beyond just rescuing families, his vision encompasses complete rehabilitation. He is a driving force behind establishing Kiln Schools to ensure children hold pencils instead of molding clay, and organizing medical camps to treat the severe occupational hazards faced by these marginalized communities.
"Our struggle is not just about paying off a debt; it is about restoring the fundamental human dignity that is buried in the dust of the kilns. We fight so that the next generation is born into freedom, not bondage."
